Prayer using Quran Alone

Step-by-Step Guide to the Quranic Prayer.

In the Quran, Allah instructs believers to perform three daily prayers, known as Salat, to Remember Allah and protect us from evil. These Salat-Prayers are called Salat Al-Fajr, Al-Wusta and Al-‘Isha (Dawn, Middle & Late-Evening Prayer) and their names are found in 24:58 (Fajr & ‘Isha) and 2:238 (Wusta). Their timeframes are in 11:114 (Fajr & ‘Isha) & 17:78 (Wusta).

We must do our ablution/wudu before every prayer in 5:6 & 4:43 and direct our faces toward the Qiblah/Direction of Salat-Prayer (2:143-150/10:87). And during Salat-Prayer, one must have a middle tone and not silent therein 17:110.

We have Prophet Muhammad (SWS) demonstrating 2 Raka’s/Sets during a Salat-Prayer in 4:102. For the full details of each Raka’s and more information, click on the subjects on the right hand sidebar. You can also watch the full video touching the main subjects and watch an example of the Salat being performed.
