Allah tracks everyone’s Good & Bad deeds.
The unit of measurement for a Good-Deed in the Quran is called Al-Hasanah/الْحَسَنَةُ – The Good-Deed; i.e. Hasana. Which is synonymous with the act of goodwill.
And the unit of measurement for a Bad-Deed in the Quran is called As-Sayyiah/السَّيِّئَةُ – The Bad-Deed; or simply, Sayyiah.
Whatever struck you/you-attained from a Hasanah/Good-Deed is then from Allah. And whatever struck you/you-attained from a Bad-Deed/Sayyiah is then from yourself/soul/nafs. And We sent you for mankind as a Messenger and Allah sufficed as a Witness.
Any Good-Deed/Hasana is from Allah.
And whatever Bad-Deed is from our Nafs/Souls – ourselves/our thoughts (4:79).
Whoever came with Hasana/the Good-deed, he will then have ten similar-ones-to-it. And whoever came with the Bad-Deed/Misdeed/Sayyiah, then he will not be recompensed/repaid except similar-to-it, and they will not be wronged.
Thus, one Hasana is worth at least 10 times its value.
As pointed out in 6:160 above, “And whoever came with the Bad-Deed/Misdeed/Sayyiah, then he will not be repaid except similar-to-it”.
Hence, one Sayyiah IS 1 for 1
Indeed, Allah does not wrong an atom’s weight. And if it’s a Hasana/Good-Deed, He doubles it, and He gives from His-Presence a tremendous reward.
A Hasana is clearly being measured (4:40) and will be weighed on Judgment Day (7:8-9 & 99:7-8). Allah is so Generous that He will double it with an enormous bonus (4:40).
28:84 Whoever came (on Judgement Day) with Hasana/Good-Deed,then he will have one-better/more-charitable (khayr) than it.And whoever came with a Bad-Deed (Sayyiah) – then those who did Bad-Deedswill not be recompensed except for what they used to do.
28:84 (also 27:89) informs us that a Hasana will be converted to a better one/more-charitable-one – Khayr. In mathematical terms, this is the sum of Rule 1 and Rule 3 times two since that’s better than one.
2:261 The example of those who spend their monies/wealth in the Way of Allah is like the example of a seed that grew seven spikes; in each spike are a hundred seeds.
And Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is Encompassing, Knowledgeable.
Hasana Calculations
If we express rules 1, 3, and 4 in simple mathematical terms with rule 5,one Good-Deed/Hasana (ḥ) = 10 (Rule 1) x 2 (Rule 3) + Rule 4 (SUM of Rule 1 + Rule 3 x 2) x 700 (Rule 5)Here’s an example of $1, $2, $10, $50 & $100 being donated as a Good-Deed/Hasana (ḥ):$1 x ((10 x 2) + (1 x 10 x 2)) x 700 = ḥ28,000$2 x ((10 x 2) + (1 x 10 x 2)) x 700 = ḥ56,000$10 x ((10 x 2) + (1 x 10 x 2)) x 700 = ḥ280,000$50 x ((10 x 2) + (1 x 10 x 2)) x 700 = ḥ1,400,000$100 x ((10 x 2) + (1 x 10 x 2)) x 700 = ḥ2,800,000
Note that in Charity Rules, Rule 4b. Interest on Charities:
2:276 Allah destroys usury and puts interest on charities (see 3:130).
And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.
Here at Abraham’s Foundation, we intend to multiply all donors their hasanaats collectively if Allah wills.
For instance, let’s say we are 5 donors and everyone donated a different amount as such:Ex:– Donor 1 = $5– Donor 2 = $10– Donor 3 = $100– Donor 4 = $200– Donor 5 = $50Total $365With that $365, lets say it feeds 170 orphans. This means, Donor 1, who only could have donated $5, contributed to the total 170 orphans. So Donor 1 will get a 170 multiplier for his $5 (in relations to Hasana calculations 6:160 + 2:261 + 4:40).Every Donor in the example above gets that Multiplier (170x) since they all collectively gathered $365 and not just one donor. Even if it’s just $5.As a result, combining everyone’s charity will actually feed more people and everyone gets a bigger multiplier for the total orphans/children/homeless/etc that were feed by Allah’s will.Hence, it’ a win-win collectively instead of individually.
30:39 And whatever you have given out of usury-interest (3:130) to have-gains-of-interest within the wealth of people will not have gains-of-interest with Allah.
But whatever you have given out of Zakat (donation), desiring the Face of Allah – then they are those who are the Multipliers/Doublers (pl.).
If you understand the logic above, and do agree (as said in 30:39), then know that Allah Knows & Sees Everything we are doing and especially in regards to charity since He repeats it many times in the Quran. This literally has a direct impact on our Hereafter.
Feel blessed to donate here at Abraham’s Foundation and may Allah multiply your Hasanas beyond your expectations.
So the only place in the Quran that Allah SWT informs us that you can intercede with an intercession is in 4:85 as follows:
4:85 Whoever intercedes/mediates (yashfa’ on behalf of s.o.) a good/excellent/hasana intercession/mediation (shafā’atan) will have a share (naṣībun) from it;
And whoever intercedes/mediates an evil/bad/sayyiah intercession/mediation will have a charge/slice (kif’lun) from it.
And Allah has been a Nourisher/Overseer (muqītan) for everything.
4:85 clearly informs us what intercession is and it is permissible whether it’s a good or bad intercession as it is used as a verb and a noun in the same ayah 4:85.
Thus, as a verb (shafa’a) in 4:85, it informs us that intercession or mediation can be something good or bad (hasana or sayyiah) in which you do on behalf of someone.
That is a straightforward understanding of this ayah (4:85) and in the dictionary as a form 1 verb and as a noun.
So an example of a good intercession would be, if you made food for the poor on behalf of your parents who are elderly and you make it on their behalf which means you are interceding for them. 4:85 says you will get a share from it (naṣībun min-ha).
Likewise, Allah SWT rewards both parties on the Day of Judgment for the good hasanah intercession/mediation/shafā’atan that was done.
The same rule applies for an evil/bad intercession.
Additionally, if you are sharing this information to someone, and they donate through you via a link, then both parties will receive hasanas if Allah wills. Similar to how you share an app with a friend and they give you a $20 credit for sharing. However, Allah’s multipliers are far more massive.
Therefore, please share our link with friends and family and may Allah continue to increase everyone’s Hasanas, guidance and knowledge and may Allah have Mercy upon us on Judgment Day and make our weights heavy. Indeed, Allah is Able To Do Anything
وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُون
7:8 (23:102 & 101:6-7) And the Weighing/Balancing [of Hasanah] on that Day is the Truth/Reality. So whoever’s scales were-heavy – then those-ones, they are the successful-ones.7:9 (23:103 & 101:8-11) And who’s scales were-light – then those are the ones who will have lost their Souls/Selves/Thoughtsbecause they were transgressing/wrongdoing/ being-unjust with Our Verses/Signs. 99:7 So whoever does an atom’s weight of best-deed/charity (khayra syn. Hasanah) will see it. 99:8 And whoever does an atom’s weight of wicked-deed (sharra) will see it.
